DRK Norden

DRK Norden is a local organization of the German Red Cross, supporting people through care, safety, health services, and community assistance. Its services include ambulatory care and domestic help, helping people remain supported in their daily lives. The organization also offers a 24-hour home emergency call service, providing access to assistance at the push of a button, and delivers freshly prepared meals to customers’ homes through its mobile meal service.

DRK Norden provides first-aid courses for individuals, including people preparing for a driving test, and for businesses. It also offers fire-safety training, medical services at events, blood donation opportunities, and a clothing bank. Through its local branches in communities including Dornum, Hinte, Krummhörn, Norderney, and Hage-Großheide, the organization brings people together to provide practical help. Guided by the German Red Cross’s humanitarian mission, DRK Norden combines professional services with community involvement and invites people to learn more, volunteer, or become members. Its work aims to support wellbeing and make help available when it is needed.
