The Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Ortsverein Pleidelsheim (DRK Pleidelsheim) is a dedicated humanitarian organization founded in 1962, aiming to provide essential support and services to individuals in need. With a membership of nearly 320, including approximately 20 active volunteers, the organization plays a critical role in the community by delivering various social and health-related services.

DRK Pleidelsheim specializes in emergency medical services through its Sanitätsdienst, offering assistance during local events like sports games and street festivals. The organization also operates a "Helfer vor Ort" system, which supplies trained volunteers to support the official emergency services. Additionally, in collaboration with the blood donation service, it organizes blood donation events twice a year, empowering the local community to participate in life-saving initiatives.
