DRK-Kreisverband Zollernalb e.V. is a regional association of the German Red Cross in Baden-Württemberg, based in Balingen. With 24 local branches, around 250 employees, approximately 2,300 volunteers and more than 600 Youth Red Cross members, it provides a broad network of support and emergency assistance across the Zollernalb district. Its work includes first-aid courses, medical services at events, and community response through local branches, mountain rescue, water rescue and search-and-rescue dog teams.

The association also offers practical services for individuals and families. Its home emergency call service provides round-the-clock support at home and, with GPS-enabled mobile coverage, while travelling. The meal service delivers a choice of meals to customers’ homes, and the clothing shop sells affordable second-hand clothing and household items with personal advice. Through its Glücksmomente vehicle, the association helps seriously ill people fulfil special wishes. Family programmes support parents and children in different circumstances, while the Youth Red Cross encourages young people to participate and contribute. The association also welcomes volunteers and recruits staff for its varied services.
