Dr. Lazare is a pioneer, leader and educator in the field of Biomimetic dentistry and Smile Design, having authored the book The Patient’s Guide to Biomimetic Dentistry and Smile Design, and the peer-reviewed article titled the Biomimetic Smile Makeover. He has introduced Biomimetic dentistry around the world and has helped to revolutionize modern dentistry with his Biomimetic Smile Makeovers, utilizing the most innovative techniques coupled with the most conservative and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Lazare served as President of the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry is a long-time member of its Executive Board and a Fellow in that same Academy. He has achieved the designation of Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Lazare completed his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his DDS Degree from NYU College of Dentistry, and became part of its Clinical Faculty. At Lazare Biomimetic Dentistry and Smile Design Studio our goal is to challenge the traditional ways of dentistry with logical and out-side-the-box thinking to avoid, whenever possible, the unnecessary invasive procedures that most traditional dentists perform, such as root canals and crowns. Instead, we use Biomimetic protocols and procedures to save all good tooth structure and rebuild what is missing or broken in a way that mimics the natural properties of the tooth structure being replaced. Our studio offers a variety of treatments and therapies that conventional dental practices do not have, such as Biomimetic Dentistry, Infrared Light Therapy for TMJ discomfort and Non-invasive laser treatment for cold sores.
