MovieMask is a forward-thinking brand that aims to revolutionize the way we enjoy movies and immersive content. Founded in 2016 by Norwegian students Eirik Wahlstrøm and Harald Manheim, our company initially introduced the MovieMask, driven by their realization of the vast contrast between watching movies in a theater and on a smartphone. With MovieMask, our goal was to bring the immersive cinema experience right to personal devices.

Through extensive prototyping and collaboration with leading opticians, we developed a unique lens technology that sets us apart. After months of rigorous user testing and forming production partnerships in China, we successfully launched MovieMask on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, reaching over 10,000 customers in 80+ countries. In 2021, our brand made a significant pivot to the drone sector with the introduction of the DroneMask.

This innovative product is designed to provide drone pilots with an immersive, high-resolution experience while flying their camera drone. In just a year, we have enhanced the experiences of over 4,000 drone pilots, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback that affirms our ability to deliver superior and immersive drone flying experiences. At the core of our value creation is our patented unibody lens system, specially crafted to offer a comfortable and immersive viewing experience that minimizes eye strain.

It provides full-screen magnification at short distances, requiring only a mobile device to operate. This versatile lens technology enables immersive experiences for a wide range of 2D applications, including First-Person-View (FPV) solutions for drones, watching 2D movies on platforms like Netflix, and engaging with high-definition Augmented Reality content. In addition to MovieMask and DroneMask, our product suite also includes MagiMask, collectively facilitating immersive content access for over 20,000 satisfied customers worldwide.
