DroneSoccer Australia

Drone Soccer Australia is the FIDA-approved home of drone soccer, an aerial team sport that combines the excitement of soccer with drone technology. Based on the Gold Coast, the organisation welcomes beginners, students, families, clubs and experienced competitors. Players pilot drones in protective shells, working together to pass, manoeuvre and score in fast-paced matches. Games are offered in 3-a-side and 5-a-side formats, with levels for casual play, education and competitive tournaments, including opportunities to compete in the World Cup.

Drone Soccer Australia supports learning and participation through STEM programs, educational activities, family play, leagues and events. Its shop offers Class 20 and Class 40 drones, purpose-built arenas and spare parts. Class 20 drones are designed for beginners and education, with a shock-resistant guard, steady flight, altitude hold and coloured LEDs. Class 40 drones are intended for competitive players seeking greater power and manoeuvrability. The organisation also provides game rules, resources and membership options, helping people learn to fly, build teamwork and enjoy a technology-driven sport.
