About Dr Poppendiek
Praxis Dr. Poppendiek provides relationship counselling and therapy for couples and individuals in Heidelberg and online. Led by Dr. Nele Poppendiek, a systemic therapist and couples and sexual therapist, the practice focuses on relationship and partnership concerns. Sessions are available in German or English, and clients are welcome whether they attend alone or with a partner, regardless of sexual orientation.
The practice supports couples working through communication difficulties, infidelity and affairs, recurring relationship patterns, conflict, intimacy and distance, jealousy, fear of abandonment, and separation. Individual clients can explore relationship patterns, self-esteem, attachment fears and partner choice, or build a foundation for a fulfilling partnership. Support is also available for people who are not currently in a relationship or whose partner is not ready to attend.
Dr. Poppendiek describes her approach as structured, warm, open-minded and respectful, with sessions tailored to each client’s concerns. The aim is to help clients find solutions and become able to move forward independently.
