Dr. Sarita Dhuper’s Brooklyn practice provides pediatric cardiology and obesity care for infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Dhuper is board certified in pediatric cardiology, pediatrics, and obesity medicine, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. She is also director of Pediatric Cardiology at SUNY Downstate Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics.

The practice evaluates and treats heart conditions, including murmurs, arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, fainting, and hypertension, as well as obesity-related concerns such as metabolic syndrome, prediabetes, and cholesterol disorders. Services include cardiometabolic assessments, nutritional counseling, weight-management support, and evaluations for weight-loss medications or bariatric surgery. Diagnostic services include EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter and event monitoring, body composition testing, exercise stress testing, and fetal echocardiography.

Dr. Dhuper founded Live Light Live Right, a childhood obesity program offering supervised exercise opportunities. When advanced procedures or imaging are needed, her team coordinates referrals and follow-up with specialist teams.
