Nexus Software Systems

Nexus is a DOT compliance and employee management platform designed to help organizations manage workforce requirements through one connected, AI-enhanced system. Built from a program manager’s perspective, it supports DERs and HR teams, particularly in safety-sensitive industries, by automating routine processes and keeping records organized and audit-ready.

The platform combines four core modules: drug and alcohol testing management, employee onboarding and verification, workforce management, and HR case management. Features include automated testing schedules, instant reports, background screening and I-9 verification, employee records, scheduling, leave management, and tools to log and resolve workplace issues. Nexus also provides real-time alerts, workforce data, compliance management, and HR reporting, while its AI tools can identify potential risks, reveal trends, and answer regulatory or company-policy questions.

Employees and managers can access the system through Nexus Web and the VeriX mobile app. Nexus also offers third-party administrator services, compliance program audits, and products including VeriX. Its solutions serve sectors such as aerospace, logistics, rail, public utilities, mass transit, construction, and sports.
