Drug Educators Alliance

Drug Educators Alliance is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on preventing drug abuse through truthful, factual, age-appropriate education, early intervention and community collaboration. It supports young people and the adults who help guide them, including schools, families, law enforcement, courts, youth leaders and community organizations. Its resources address topics such as fentanyl, marijuana and THC, vaping, prescription drugs and alcohol, alongside guidance for talking with teens.

The organization offers live, instructor-led eight-hour Drug Educator Training online or through private in-person sessions. Participants build communication skills and receive practical youth curriculum and resources; successful trainees earn a two-year certification. Free youth education presentations are available when staffing and funding permit. An online First-Time Offender Program course has been developed, though broad court adoption and national implementation have not yet occurred.

Drug Educators Alliance is also developing a national youth prevention campaign, workplace education resources and ONE Platform, a planned hub for programs, courses, research and data.
