Valiant Behavioural Health is an addiction treatment provider serving Ottawa, Ontario, with a residential facility located about 20 kilometres from the city centre. The organization offers support for people experiencing alcohol and drug addiction, prescription drug misuse, gambling and sex addiction, and related mental health concerns. Its services include intervention assistance, professionally supported detox, residential rehabilitation, aftercare, family care and sober living with peer support.

Valiant’s intensive residential program lasts 30 to 120 days and is designed to meet clients at their stage of recovery while helping them develop tools for continued progress. Treatment combines group and individual therapy, psycho-educational workshops and fitness. Individual counselling includes at least eight hours per month with a clinical counsellor. Group work addresses underlying concerns that may contribute to addiction, including anxiety, depression, anger management, codependency and boundaries.

The centre limits admissions to a maximum of 11 clients, allowing for smaller groups and personal attention. Its approach emphasizes self-determination, personal responsibility and a supportive environment.
