Drummoyne District Rugby Football Club (DDRFC), known as the Dirty Reds, is an amateur rugby club based at Taplin Park in Sydney’s Inner West. Serving communities including Balmain, Drummoyne, Birchgrove and Rozelle, the club welcomes players of different ages, abilities and experience, whether they are looking for social rugby or competitive play. Its programs span junior, youth and adult rugby, with a focus on participation, development and club community.
Junior teams play in the Inner West Mini competition for ages six to nine and the Sydney Junior Rugby Union competition for ages 10 to 16. The club follows the Australian Rugby Union Junior Player Pathway, with age-appropriate Walla, Mini and Midi formats. Colts and senior sides compete in the NSW Suburban Rugby competition; the senior program fields five grades, while the club also offers two Colts teams. Women’s rugby includes matches against developing squads, Suburban Rugby competition and Sevens tournaments, with newcomers welcome. Drummoyne also takes part in social and competitive Sevens events.
