Društvo AED je neprofitna organizacija, ki že vrsto let skrbi za širjenje mreže javno dostopnih AED naprav po Sloveniji. Poslanstvo Društva AED je zagotoviti, da vsaka oseba, ki doživi srčni zastoj, pravočasno dobi oskrbo z avtomatskim eksternim defibrilatorjem (AED). Društvo AED organizacijam zagotavlja sredstva za nakup in vzdrževanje defibrilatorjev, izvaja brezplačne delavnice temeljnih postopkov oživljanja (TPO) in z različnimi aktivnostmi ozavešča o problematiki srčnih zastojev. Društvo povezuje medicinske sodelavce, strokovnjake iz različnih strok, promotorje in mnoge druge. Srečate nas lahko v vseh krajih v Sloveniji na različnih lokacijah - od trgovskih centrov, preko fakultet, do izletniških točk.

About Društvo AED
Društvo AED is a non-profit organization in Slovenia that aims to save lives by providing timely access to automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Founded in 2019, the organization consists of dedicated members who have experienced the devastating effects of sudden cardiac arrest and understand the importance of cardiovascular health. Their mission is to increase the number of publicly accessible AED devices and educate the public on how to respond to sudden cardiac arrest.
They believe that every life counts and that prompt intervention can make a significant difference. In collaboration with the healthcare authorities, they are working towards establishing a well-maintained network of AED stations across the country to prevent serious consequences before emergency medical services arrive. With over 30 representatives and volunteers, including doctors and healthcare students, Društvo AED is committed to building a safer future for generations to come.
