Друштво књижевника и књижевних преводилаца Ниша is an esteemed organization that serves as the foundation of literary heritage in Nis. With a tradition dating back to the early 20th century, the organization preserves and advocates for the creative and professional interests of its members. Comprised of talented writers and translators who reside or were born in Nis, the members actively contribute to the literary community.
They play a pivotal role in the programming council of the Sićevo Literary Colony, participate in literary award juries, as well as organize and lead literary workshops and programs in Serbia and abroad.
