Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk

Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk is a Catholic social and charitable organization under the umbrella of Caritas, based in Ursberg, Germany. Founded in 1884 by priest Dominikus Ringeisen, it supports people in keeping with its Christian belief that every person is precious. The organization accompanies more than 5,000 people across over 30 locations in three Bavarian administrative regions, including people with intellectual, learning, multiple or sensory disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, mental health conditions, and older adults.

Its services include information and advice; supported living for adults, children and young people; residential care, short-term care and assisted living; employment and day programs; schools, vocational training and school support; and family, leisure, communication and early-childhood services. Health provision includes St. Camillus Hospital, a medical care center and a medical supply shop in Ursberg. Through workshops and other businesses, the organization also offers products and services in crafts, hospitality, construction, gardening, textiles, document digitization and destruction, and industrial manufacturing. These activities combine practical support with opportunities for participation and work.
