Drummond Street Services

Drummond Street Services is a not-for-profit community organisation supporting individuals, families and communities across Victoria. Serving Victorians since 1887, it works to strengthen family wellbeing, foster connected and inclusive communities, and advance innovation and research in family support. Its services include counselling and support, youth and family programs, parenting courses, and mental health and alcohol and other drug support.

The organisation also provides family violence services, including support for survivors, LGBTIQA+ people who use violence, and families experiencing adolescent violence at home. Dedicated LGBTIQA+ programs include Queerspace and Queerspace Youth, alongside mentoring, advocacy and family support. Drummond Street Services offers assistance at locations including Ballarat, Carlton, Collingwood, Epping, Geelong, North Melbourne and Wyndham, and provides ways to request support and access services with a translator.

Through its CFRE work, it delivers training, practice development, research, evaluation and consultancy focused on inclusive, evidence-informed practice. The organisation also owns Archer Magazine, which focuses on sexuality and gender. Drummond Street Services is not a crisis response service
