Dynamic Self Defence Academy (DSDA) is a United Kingdom martial arts and self-defence training organisation offering classes for adults, children and teens. Its approach centres on Krav Maga, combined with techniques from other disciplines, fitness training and pressure testing to help students practise responding to real-life situations. Classes are led by accredited instructors with more than 35 years of combined experience; the academy says its coaches are qualified in their disciplines, insured and first-aid certified.
The programme includes Krav Maga, Muay Thai, boxing, Capoeira, mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as fitness, stretching and movement sessions. Dedicated options include women-only fitness and self-defence, a women’s self-defence course, teen girls’ Krav Maga and children’s classes and camps. Training is available at the academy’s purpose-built Hendon centre and at locations in Edgware and Essex. DSDA promotes small student-to-instructor ratios and aims to help participants build confidence, strength, fitness and resilience. Prospective students can book trial classes, review timetables and pricing, or contact the academy for information.
