The Dalit Social Development Center (DSDC), established in 2004 in Kapilvastu, Nepal, is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on uplifting marginalized communities, particularly Dalits, women, and individuals with disabilities. Aiming to eradicate caste and gender discrimination, DSDC advocates for basic human rights and social inclusion, ensuring that historically oppressed groups have access to essential resources and opportunities.
The organization offers a variety of programs aimed at fostering education, health, and economic empowerment. DSDC conducts health services, including reproductive health and environment sanitation, while also focusing on income generation and skill development. Their initiatives promote gender equality and awareness against social injustices such as untouchability and exploitation.
In addition to community health initiatives, DSDC actively engages in climate change mitigation and disaster preparedness, ensuring that vulnerable populations are equipped to manage environmental challenges. Committed to transparency and accountability, the DSDC collaborates with local and international partners to create a dignified and equitable society free from discrimination.
