Sønderjysk Familielandbrug is a family farming association based in Løgumkloster and part of Landbrug & Fødevarer. It supports people who live in the countryside, including full-time, part-time and hobby farmers, and offers both active and passive memberships. The association works to sustain viable farms and rural life, promote owner-operated and sustainable agriculture, and support both new farmers and established businesses developing their operations.
Members receive updates on agricultural policy and professional issues, along with opportunities to learn and share ideas through meetings and events. These cover topics such as reforms, farming practices and rural life, with contributions from advisers at Landbrugsrådgivning Syd and partner organisations. The association also provides access to member benefits and discounts, including offers on diesel and heating oil, as well as access to Landbrugsavisen and landmand.dk. New active members can receive a free trial membership of up to 11 months, followed by a 50 percent discount on the first full year’s membership fee. Sønderjysk Familielandbrug also shares news, guidance and information on agricultural support and policy.
