DSL Shops

DSL Shops is a scale-model architecture studio whose work has been presented since 1993. Formerly a kit manufacturer, the business stopped producing kits in 2016 and now focuses primarily on finished architectural models, especially building fronts and backs in O scale. These pieces are made to scale and designed as low-relief artworks that can be hung individually or arranged in groups, with or without a background. Each model is signed.

The website showcases galleries of past work rather than a catalog of products available to order. Visitors may inquire about having similar pieces made based on numbered examples in the Dave Lull Studios Gallery. DSL Shops also considers custom structure projects, including modeled prototype walls and associated signage, but accepts only work that interests the maker. Interested customers can submit dimensions, sketches, photographs, or a gallery reference to discuss a project. The site notes that payment may not be required upon completion when, in the maker’s judgment, a piece can be offered to other buyers.
