District Terrien is the youth basketball district of the Comité Départemental du Nord de Basket Ball, serving clubs and players in France’s Nord department. It manages youth basketball championships and provides information and support for the sporting activities that bring affiliated clubs together. Its work spans competition administration, technical development, referee and table-official matters, and district cup events, including the Hochard/Maillard and Vercaemer cups.

The district publishes competition resources such as age-group pool lists, schedules, match results, and official documents. It also offers technical training and supports referee development through activities such as mid-season refresher meetings. Across its programmes, District Terrien emphasizes that youth sport should encourage learning, respect, education, tolerance, and enjoyment, rather than adult ambitions. It aims to make games positive experiences for young players and all participants.

Based in Phalempin, the organization shares news, announcements, and practical information through its website and Facebook page. Clubs, officials, players, and families can contact its office by phone or email for assistance with district activities.
