Duce Dropper

Duce Dropper is a veteran-owned, American-made ice fishing brand operated by SKI2 LLC in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. It offers an innovative accessory designed to help anglers manage a fish-finder transducer while landing a catch. With a tap of the foot pedal, the device lifts the transducer out of the water, reducing the chance that its cable will tangle with the fishing line. The angler can then reel in the fish with both hands and push the arm back down to return the transducer to position.

The Duce Dropper requires no electronics or batteries, using gravity and an adjustable counterweight instead. It is lightweight, collapsible, and designed to work with most basic flashers; the counterweight can be adjusted to accommodate nearly all transducer weights using water or other suitable fill. The lift arm raises the transducer 26–28 inches to clear the hole. The unit also serves as a locator caddy for moving between fishing holes.
