Dudley Community First Responders is a dedicated volunteer organization that operates under the West Midlands Ambulance Service. Committed to enhancing emergency medical response, their trained volunteers attend 999 calls in the local community, often arriving at the scene 5-10 minutes before the ambulance. This rapid response is vital during life-threatening situations, where every second counts to improve patient survival chances.

In the past three months alone, the team has volunteered 649 hours and attended 148 jobs, addressing a range of medical emergencies, from cardiac arrests and breathing difficulties to fractures and mental health issues.

Dudley CFRs welcomes new volunteers, offering comprehensive training through the West Midlands Ambulance Service training academy. No prior experience is necessary.
