Dug McUgly Art is an independent art brand created by artist Dug McUgly, whose work embraces the weird, wild, and strange. The artist describes his paintings as unusual creations that resist easy classification and may seem to speak for themselves. The shop offers original acrylic paintings on canvas board, made to be light, sturdy, and easy to frame.
Its collection includes offbeat characters and imaginative scenes, such as 80s-inspired teen dramas, high school misfits, athletes and criminals, as well as surreal science-fiction subjects like space smugglers and princesses facing gangsters. Several listings feature “noodle realism,” a distinctive description used for this unusual, playful style. The works are available in different sizes and at listed prices, with examples ranging from 12-by-16-inch paintings to a 20-by-16-inch piece.
Visitors can browse and purchase art through the shop, read the brand’s blog, and find information about shipping and policies. Dug McUgly Art also provides contact details and maintains a social presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
