Duhové prázdniny

Duhové prázdniny, z.s. is a small nonprofit association based in Opava, Czechia, dedicated to organizing children’s summer camps and activities throughout the year. Its main offering is a two-week summer camp for children aged 7 to 15 who have completed their first year of primary school. The 2027 camp is scheduled for August 14–27, costs 5,750 CZK, and will feature a Jules Verne-inspired “Mysterious Island” theme; registration is planned to open in January 2027.

Since 2025, the camp has been held at Ranč U Medvěda near Kružberk, amid meadows and woods by the Moravice River. The site includes traditional tent accommodation, a kitchen serving five meals daily, covered facilities with hot water, indoor gathering and recreation spaces, sports areas, and access to supervised river swimming in suitable conditions. The association also runs Táborový plamen, a year-round project offering challenges and skill-based patches for children and adults. Its organizers value ongoing training and exchange of ideas among youth leaders, and share camp updates and photographs online.
