About DUI-LEG og VIRKE
DUI-LEG og VIRKE is a historic organization founded in Denmark in 1905 by Louis Florin and A. C. Meyer.
Initially, it was a youth league for the Danish Social Democratic Party, but it soon evolved to include girls as well. By 1919, the organization had established multiple departments throughout Denmark, and today it is an independent, innovative organization for children, youngsters, and families. The National Congress, held every two years, is the supreme authority of DUI.
At the congress, a Central Board is appointed to make decisions between congresses. Local departments across the country collaborate to organize a wide range of fun activities for children and adults. DUI is committed to the 17 Global Goals of the UN for sustainable development.
Through their activities, they aim to foster independent growth and cooperation among children and youngsters. With their focus on the labor movement's core values, DUI continues to provide opportunities for personal development and community engagement
