Duiken in Zutphen (DIZ) is a diving association based in Zutphen, Netherlands, founded in 1997 by a group of local divers. The club brings together enthusiastic members who value both safety and sociability, and provides a place to meet dive buddies and enjoy activities throughout the year, above and below the water. Through its special connection with Duikcentrum Bronsbergen, members can fill their tanks with air free of charge.
DIZ’s calendar combines diving outings with social events. Activities highlighted by the association include a Halloween dive at Bronsbergenmeer, a winter oliebollen dive followed by drinks and fresh Dutch doughnuts, boat dives at Vinkeveen, and a summer barbecue. The club also shares news and reports from past events, giving prospective members a sense of its community life. With a welcoming atmosphere and a focus on safe, shared experiences, Duiken in Zutphen offers local divers opportunities to explore, build friendships and take part in organised activities throughout the year.
