Od počátku

Od počátku is a women’s wellness and birth-support practice led by Lucie Machalová, a doula, lactation consultant, functional trainer, and instructor in health-focused physical education. Based in Kroměříž, the practice offers personal guidance through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, with an emphasis on informed preparation, practical support, and care for both body and emotions.

Services include comprehensive birth preparation, pregnancy care, postpartum support, breastfeeding advice, pregnancy and rebozo massage, herbal steam treatments, Spinning Babies techniques, and placenta processing. Individual functional training and exercise plans focus on the pelvic floor, core strength, and the body’s deep stabilizing system. Od počátku also runs prenatal courses and workshops on physical preparation for birth, breathing techniques, pelvic-floor awareness, and bioenergetic bodywork. Other offerings include educational talks for girls about puberty and emerging menstrual cycles, as well as courses for couples and families. The newly opened Studio Od počátku in Kroměříž provides a venue for classes, workshops, and events. Through its range of services, the practice supports women and families before and after childbirth.
