About The Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic
Dům přírody is a network of visitor and information centres that introduces people to the nature, landscapes and protected areas of the Czech Republic. The programme brings together nature houses and regional information centres, including locations in the White Carpathians, the Bohemian Karst, the Moravian Karst, the Jizera Mountains and the Pálava region. The website presents these destinations and helps visitors discover places to explore across the country.
Visitors can take part in events and educational activities, browse calendars and news, and find guidance on how to behave responsibly in nature. Offerings include themed programmes, nature outings, creative workshops, films, publications, original souvenirs and questing activities. Some locations also provide resources such as research backpacks for exploring local environments. A visitor passport encourages people to visit participating centres and collect stamps along the way.
With information about its sites, events and learning resources gathered in one place, Dům přírody supports enjoyable, informed visits to Czech protected landscapes.
