About Dunav Ultra
Dunav Ultra is the longest tourist cycling route in Bulgaria, spanning a distance of 740 km from the village of Kudelin in Vidin to the village of Durankulak on the Black Sea. This official Danube cycling route connects the northwest starting point of the country with the northeastern endpoint, passing through stunning landscapes and historical sites. The route coincides with the EuroVelo 6 transcontinental route from Vidin to Silistra.
Dunav Ultra has been recognized as an innovative tourism project and was awarded the Innovation of the Year in Tourism by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria. For cyclists embarking on this adventure, Dunav Ultra offers a mobile application that provides essential information, recommends logistical points, and offers special discounts from their partners. By completing the route and earning a personal certificate, participants contribute to the promotion of the region and have the opportunity to participate in an annual raffle with incentives.
