Dungeons and Comedians is a Christchurch, New Zealand-based live entertainment project where comedians play Dungeons & Dragons in front of an audience. The group brings tabletop role-playing to the stage through improvised adventures, comic performances and ongoing campaigns, with episodes also available as podcasts and, in some cases, videos. Its published adventures feature a rotating cast of players, Dungeon Masters and creative collaborators, including special guests.
Stories range from familiar fantasy quests—such as confronting bandits, delivering a magical ring and battling monsters—to playful, unexpected challenges like renovating a theatre or helping a myconid baker make sourdough. The website provides episode descriptions, audio playback and downloads, RSS subscription options, and links to video content. It also includes information about the project through its About and FAQ sections.
With a blend of comedy, collaborative storytelling and live role-playing, Dungeons and Comedians offers audiences an entertaining way to follow imaginative campaigns and the performers bringing them to life
