Dunn Deal Sportfishing is an offshore fishing charter based at Teach’s Lair Marina in Hatteras, North Carolina, offering Gulf Stream trips in the Outer Banks. The charter targets a variety of fish, including tuna, dolphin, wahoo, and billfish, with other catches also possible. Trips are led by Captain Shaun Dunn, who grew up on Hatteras Island and has spent much of his life working on the water. His background includes commercial fishing, serving as a mate and captain, and mechanical work on Cummins, Yamaha, and Suzuki equipment.
The Dunn Deal is a custom-built 42-foot Ocean Yacht powered by twin Cummins diesel engines. It has fishing electronics and safety equipment, and is licensed for up to six passengers. Onboard features include a renovated cabin, restroom, air conditioning and heat, a tuna greenstick, television, microwave, and coffee maker. The charter provides fishing licenses, bait, and tackle. Guests are encouraged to bring food, drinks, sunscreen, and any needed medications.
