Dunsop Trout Farm

Dunsop Bridge Trout Farm Ltd is a family-owned fish farming business with a long history, established in 1926 in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. The company supplies live, quality brown and rainbow trout for fishery stocking, with delivery information and terms available to customers. Its operations expanded in 2019 through the purchase of Costa Springs and Sinnington Trout Farms, alongside Howkeld Fish Farms in Yorkshire.

Costa Springs Hatchery dates to the mid-1940s and is situated on the United Kingdom’s most northerly chalk stream. Together, the farms serve customers from locations in Lancashire and North Yorkshire. The business is led by Managing Director Phil Mart, whose career in trout farming began as a farm labourer in 1982 and progressed through roles including foreman and farm manager. He and business partner Dave Jones acquired Dunsop Bridge Trout Farm in 2011.
