Duogarciaesteban

Dúo García Esteban is a chamber music partnership formed in 1996 by clarinetist Francisco Antonio García and pianist Carmen Esteban. Bringing together two distinct musical voices, the duo approaches performance as a way to give composers’ works life and invite audiences into a unique sound world. Its repertoire spans from the Classical period to contemporary music, with particular attention to Spanish chamber music from different eras. The program ranges across styles and composers, including Mozart, Debussy, Brahms, Toldrá, Astor Piazzolla and Paquito D’Rivera.

The duo has performed in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Italy, England, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Argentina, Uruguay and the United States, appearing at venues including London’s Purcell Room, Paris’s Salle Cortot, the Mozarteum in Buenos Aires and Carnegie Hall in New York. Its work also includes recordings such as Del 27 al 51: Recuperación de una modernidad, Voces de ébano and Música romántica para una noche de verano.
