Durbano cofani

F.LLI DURBANO S.N.C. is an Italian manufacturer of wooden coffins, founded in 1975 by Giovanni and Roberto Durbano. Based in Brossasco, in the province of Cuneo, the family business carries out every stage of production in Italy, combining skilled craftsmanship with qualified staff. It produces approximately 9,000 coffins annually for customers across Italy and abroad.

The Durbano collection includes more than 30 models, distinguished by their wood, workmanship and finishes. Materials include fir, larch, beech, Fraké, Balkan walnut, chestnut, mahogany and oak. The company also emphasizes quality and environmental care, using water-based colors and finishes made with natural resins. Its ECO Painting line features bio-based, water-based coatings made from renewable plant-derived materials.

Production takes place at a 5,000-square-metre facility employing more than 20 people. A photovoltaic system supplies around 90% of the site’s electricity needs, while wood shavings are recovered for winter heating. F.LLI DURBANO serves funeral agencies through its products, sales network and regional warehouses, and invites prospective agents to enquire about commercial opportunities.
