About Dutch Arbitration Association
The Dutch Arbitration Association (DAA) is a non-profit organization aimed at bringing together individuals with a shared interest in arbitration in the Netherlands. While not an arbitration institute itself, the DAA serves as an association for practitioners, in-house lawyers, academics and students, arbitrators, and staff members of arbitration institutes, all with a focus on arbitration in the Netherlands. The DAA plays a vital role in promoting arbitration as a reliable method of resolving national and international disputes, as well as advocating the Netherlands as a preferred venue for arbitration.
Additionally, the association seeks to disseminate knowledge about arbitration in general and specifically in the Netherlands. To achieve this, the DAA organizes two conferences annually and may distribute informative materials such as newsletters, brochures, and position papers. Moreover, the DAA provides support and advice to Dutch policymakers to ensure that arbitration legislation remains modern and meets the expectations of current and future users of arbitration in the Netherlands.
To become a member of the Dutch Arbitration Association, simply sign up through their website and join a community of arbitration enthusiasts. For any further inquiries, you can contact the DAA via phone or email
