Maternity Experts is a dedicated advocacy group focused on raising awareness about the complexities and potential risks associated with home childbirth. Recognizing an increase in women opting for at-home deliveries due to past stressful hospital experiences, the organization emphasizes the necessity of thorough advisories providing explicit information about the hazards involved. They stress that only highly skilled maternity caregivers should assist in home births, particularly for women with complex pregnancies or previous complications.

The group highlights significant disparities in access to quality home delivery care based on geographic location and workforce challenges. Maternity Experts urge healthcare professionals to engage in open dialogues with expectant mothers regarding the potential for serious complications, and the importance of being prepared for emergencies. Their mission is to ensure that all mothers-to-be are well-informed, supported by qualified caregivers, and aware of the available resources for safe childbirth options in both home and medical settings.
