DYHockey

Duxbury Youth Hockey (DYH) is a volunteer, nonprofit organization serving young people in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Its program gives local youth opportunities to skate, learn hockey, and develop their skills in a supportive community. Alongside teaching the fundamentals of the game, DYH emphasizes sportsmanship, character, teamwork, and the friendships and lasting memories that can grow through participation.

For beginning players, the Dux Devo program offers an introductory team experience focused on making hockey fun while helping children learn how to play and work with teammates. The program includes two practices each week and a weekend game, with U6 games played on mini ice through the Bay State Hockey League. Participation in games is optional for children who are not ready.

DYH provides seasonal registration and shares program information, schedules, awards, and USA Hockey resources through its website. Families can also purchase Duxbury-themed merchandise, including a seat-back towel, with part of each towel purchase donated to the organization. DYH is part of the South Shore Conference, a network of youth hockey organizations.
