Dieselverkstadens bibliotek

Dieselbiblioteken is a public library network serving Nacka, Sweden, with locations including Dieselverkstaden, Älta, Saltsjöbaden, Nacka Forum, Orminge and Fisksätra. It provides access to books and other library resources, with online tools for searching the catalogue, managing loans and exploring the e-library. Visitors can browse new fiction and nonfiction, borrow ready-made book-club bags with discussion materials, and use digital services such as free driving-theory study through the Trafiko app at the library.

The network also offers events and activities for different ages and interests, including author visits, manga drawing, live podcasts, concerts, dance for babies, and book groups for parents on parental leave. Dieselverkstadens library hosts a monthly quiet opening for families with neurodevelopmental conditions, giving them time to use the space before it opens to the public. The website provides practical information about opening hours, library cards, borrowing rules, accessibility and services. Dieselbiblioteken supports reading, learning and community participation through its collections, programmes and welcoming local library spaces.
