DVHHW is a friendly Dutch diving club for beginners and experienced divers, with a focus on underwater sports and a welcoming community. Founded in 2008, the association is affiliated with the Nederlandse Onderwatersport Bond (NOB). Its experienced instructors provide training for members at multiple levels, including NOB one-, two- and three-star diver courses. Members can also pursue specialties such as dry-suit diving, night diving, underwater photography and biology, search and recovery, and rescue diving. Additional training includes accident simulations, first aid and CPR.
The club’s activities bring members together in and out of the water. These include pool training, open-water dives, diving weekends in Zeeland, trips abroad and other events, as well as a monthly yoga class. Training sessions take place on Friday evenings at zwembad De Waardergolf in Heerhugowaard, from September until Ascension Day. Certified divers who are looking for a club can arrange a no-obligation trial session by contacting DVHHW. The association also shares diving advice, news and event information for its members and the wider diving community.
