DVL is the umbrella organization for landscape conservation organizations in Germany, dedicated to promoting biodiversity and quality of life in our cultural landscapes. Our mission is to create natural diversity and enhance the quality of life in a contemporary and sustainable way. We bring together representatives from agriculture, forestry, nature conservation, and local communities, working towards the preservation of our cultural landscapes.

At DVL, we offer competent services and consultations regarding landscape conservation and the preservation of natural resources in Germany. We facilitate dialogue and cooperation between stakeholders in agriculture, forestry, nature conservation, and politics. We advocate passionately for landscape conservation and act as a representative for our members on national and European levels.
