DV MTB

Desert Vista Mountain Bike Team is a student cycling team serving Desert Vista High School students and students in grades 6–8 at Altadena Middle School, Akimel Middle School, and Keystone Montessori. Through the Arizona Cycling Association, the team offers a welcoming environment for riders of all abilities and fitness levels to enjoy mountain biking, build skills, compete, and form lasting friendships.

The team holds practices and group rides beginning in July, with sessions scheduled on weekday mornings and Saturdays at varying locations. Its season includes South Conference races across Arizona and concludes with the state championship and an end-of-season celebration. The team supports new and returning riders with a handbook, new-rider gear list, bike cleaning and maintenance guidance, a ride library, and race information. Families can find registration instructions and connect with the head coach for questions. Parent and community involvement is also encouraged, with volunteer roles supporting riders, team committees, and the board.
