Safe and Equal is the peak body for specialist family violence services in Victoria. As an independent, non-government organization, we advocate for and support victim survivors, leading efforts across the continuum from primary prevention to response and recovery. Our goal is to create a world beyond family and gender-based violence, where women, children, and marginalized communities are safe, thriving, and respected.

At Safe and Equal, we offer a range of services and resources. We provide support to victim survivors, help raise awareness about family violence, and work towards prevention. Our programs and initiatives are designed to address the root causes of violence, promote cultural inclusivity, and foster collaboration and partnerships within the community.

Our dedicated team of staff and board members are committed to making a difference and supporting those affected by family violence. We also have an Expert Advisory Panel consisting of victim survivors who provide invaluable insights and advocate for improved services and systems.
