Dwarf Powered Gliders

Dwarf is a flight school based at Hilversum Airport in the Netherlands, where it has provided pilot training since 1989. The school offers a welcoming place to learn, continue flying and explore aviation, with experienced pilots who also teach and a varied aircraft fleet. Training combines practical flying lessons with theory taught in-house, preparing students for exams and for flying beyond qualification.

Dwarf provides courses for three recreational licences: the PPL, for flying single-engine piston aircraft worldwide; the LAPL, for recreational flights in single-engine aircraft carrying up to four people in Europe; and the RPL, for flying microlight aircraft carrying up to two people in Europe. Pilots can also continue their training, including for Night VFR. The school offers trial lessons and aircraft rental to qualified pilots at stated reasonable prices. Its fleet includes Cessna 150 and Cessna 172 aircraft, as well as the TL-3000 Sirius and WT-9 Dynamic. Located at an airport with grass runways and multiple take-off and landing directions, Dwarf supports students and licensed pilots seeking lessons, further qualifications or recreational flying.
