Dyfi Bike Shed

Dyfi Bike Shed is a local bicycle shop based in Machynlleth, in the Dyfi Valley of Mid Wales, close to Dyfi Bike Park. The business brings together bike sales, hire, servicing and repairs, supporting riders across a range of needs and riding styles. Its shop offers downhill, mountain, electric mountain, gravel, fitness and leisure, and junior dirt-jump bikes, alongside cycling merchandise and Muc-Off products. Featured models include bikes from Marin.

Visitors can hire downhill bikes and e-MTBs, with additional hire options described as forthcoming. The workshop provides three service levels, from a basic ride check to performance and racer servicing. Other work includes brake servicing, wheel truing and spoke replacement, dropper-post cable replacement and bleeding, frame and headset bearing replacements, bottom-bracket replacement, tubeless setups, and hub servicing. Prices are listed for many services, while some replacement parts are charged separately.

Dyfi Bike Shed also promotes secure storage and highlights community connections through local rides and accommodation.
