It works to shape a connected future for health services by supporting the effective, secure exchange of structured health information and the coordination needed to make digital health processes work across the system. The centre promotes the use of international standards and provides specialist and communications support for implementing Switzerland’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR), a collection of personal documents containing a patient’s health information.
