About ETAS
ETAS, the English Teachers Association of Switzerland, is dedicated to supporting English language teachers throughout their professional careers. Our mission is to help these educators connect, grow, and thrive in their field. Made up of English Teachers working independently, for private institutions, state schools, and retirees, ETAS offers a community where teachers can come together, share expertise, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in English language education.
In addition to fostering connections among teachers, we provide a range of resources and opportunities. This includes regular events such as workshops, conferences, and webinars, both at the national and regional level. We also facilitate special interest groups, projects, and partnerships with other organizations.
The Executive Committee, elected by the membership, oversees the association's strategy and plans, ensuring that ETAS continues to meet the evolving needs of English language teachers in Switzerland.
