Engineers for 2°C Target e.V. is an association focused on supporting the goals of the Paris climate agreement through technical solutions. The organization believes engineers can contribute their knowledge and expertise to climate action more effectively when they work together and connect with other stakeholders. Its work centers on strengthening collaboration between industry and applied science, helping existing initiatives and forums build stronger development partnerships.
Rather than presenting itself as a provider of specific products, the association acts as a connector and facilitator. It aims to link relevant initiatives and forums, moderate between participating groups, and build bridges between technical stakeholders, policymakers, and the public. Through these efforts, Engineers for 2°C Target seeks to encourage the exchange of expertise and promote cooperation around practical, technology-based approaches to climate challenges.
The organization invites interested people to register and provides information about its goals, initiators, supporters, and activities through its website. Based in Kassel, Germany, Engineers for 2°C Target brings together engineering perspectives with broader efforts to advance climate protection.
