Emergency Architecture & Human Rights (EAHR) is a brand that was founded in October 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Our mission is to explore how architecture can play a vital role in building resilience within vulnerable communities. We aim to create spatial solutions that not only strengthen local livelihoods but also stimulate development before and after emergencies.

Through educational activities, co-design, and consultancy, we strive to promote broad participation, allowing community members to become an integral part of the decision-making processes that affect their own communities. We believe in an architecture that works with and for local communities, countering discrimination in cities and the built environment. By advocating for human rights and aligning our efforts with the UN Sustainable Development goals for 2030, we work towards creating safe spaces and a more inclusive society.
