About EA LAB
Welcome to EA LAB, the electroacoustic laboratory dedicated to sound measurement and processing using mobile phones. Our team of passionate engineers is committed to raising awareness about the importance of noise and sound for our health and wellbeing. It all started when Metod, an experienced programmer with a background in electrical engineering and acoustics, decided to create an app that would turn iPhones into sound level meters.
This led to the development of NoiSee, an intuitive professional-grade sound level meter for iPhone and iPod touch. Our success with NoiSee caught the attention of NIOSH, leading to the collaboration on NIOSH SLM. Additionally, we partnered with Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) to create Race Patrol, a fast and efficient sound test system for motorcycling races.
